Director New Markets & Strategic Alliances (m/w/d)

Your tasks:
• Develop sales & distribution strategies for geographical growth in the veterinary market Identify and prioritize a targeted account list in the areas Europe, Asia and South America
• Lead and support people and matrix organization. Develop and empower the team to reinforce agility, flexibility and autonomy
• Establish and expand international sales structures and territories with distribution partners and/or end customers
• Create, drive and secure strategic partnerships with the target account list
• Lead the efforts to close incremental new business
• Identify improvement opportunities, setting and monitoring of KPI’s and corrective action plans
• Conduct contract negotiations and ensure revenue and profitability
• Plan product launches and coordinate training sessions with distribution partners in cooperation with the Product Management
• Coordinate marketing and advertising promotions
• Budget & Cost planning for countries and territories

Your profile:
• 5+ years of leadership and team management experience in a matrix organization
• Several years of experience in sales, ideally in veterinary diagnostics or any other health-related activity (diagnostic equipment and/or laboratory products)
• A Bachelor / Master degree in a relevant discipline is required; an MBA is a plus
• Ability to conduct high level negotiations and to create and maintain strategic partnerships
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and to understand and share technical information
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written – fluent in English is required
• Excellent customer service and business relationship-building skills
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM; mastery of Salesforce would be a plus Regular travel activities – both domestic and abroad – may be requested
