The objectives of the program are to provide participants with a basic knowledge of ultrasound image formation and to perform routine abdominal ultrasonographic examination in dogs and cats with the main focus on the urogenital tract, the spleen and the liver.

The program is based on a mixture of formal teaching and wet labs in small groups of 4-5 participants with live animals and ultrasound machines.
